Carolyn MacDonald - Education Assistant

Hi, my name is Carolyn and I am the Education Assistant in the Year 4/5/6 class. I began my exciting and fantastic journey with the Kerry Street community in February 2013. I always wanted to be in education and working here is a fulfilment of that dream. I love working with students because of the opportunity to be part of the amazement and joy that comes from their learning and discovery. 

I believe that learning should incorporate a good balance of play-based exploration with both small and whole group sessions, and that it should also include a sense of safety, community and a big dose of humour. 

Kisani Wyatt - Education Assistant

I have been an Education Assistant, Childcare Assistant and In-Home Educator for over a decade now. In that time, I have worked with all age groups from children in kindergarten through to children in high school, and with students with special and additional needs.

I believe I add a calm yet energetic personality to our Pre-Primary/Year 1 classroom, and am flexible to adapt to any situation that may arise. Throughout the years, I have been fortunate to work closely with many culturally and linguistically diverse families, which has helped to shape my cultural competence and appreciation of diversity.

I joined the Kerry Street team in March 2017 and since then have worked closely with Melissa and Abheeti with our Pre-Primary and Year 1 students. No day at Kerry Street is ever quite the same which provides for an interest and fun work life!
